Great drive!! I really enjoyed seeing parts of France that I don't get with most of the other videos I watch. I watch a lot of European truckers, and most of them don't show these quietly beautiful parts. The traffic was pretty light compared to some of your earlier videos. lol Thank you for taking the time to record your road adventures, and all the work it takes to put them on here. Hoping you are having a fantastic summer!!

A Road I know very well, I first drove it in 1984, before the Autoroute was finished and the "A" roads were lets say.... a challenge..... At the top of the cliff near the cable car is a Villa, It looks amazing and the views must be Sublime... Do you know anything about it??? Great video, it brought back many memories.. :-)))

I love this kind of highways inside natural areas ehich they integrate so nice between the nature and the mountains. You will film Portugal or the UK sometime? Great highways there must say. Grettings from Bilbao, Basque Country

Not all french motorways are of high quality, even if you pay a high amount of tolls. For example A4 has some really bad pavement between Metz and Reims. It can also be that you don't encounter a lot of congestion on french motorways because of the tolls (apart from the relatively low population density outside the big urban areas).

I am French and what you say is absolutely true. The quality of the network in France has deteriorated considerably over the years. A few years ago, France was ranked n ° 1 as a road infrastructure.

@@qc75019 But still no comparison to German motorways (I'm German)! A considerable part of our network is still made of concrete (yes - the material all the streets in the Soviet Union were made of!) and many sections really look like a patchwork carpet. France and NL have the best roads in my opinion, and Belgium has improved a lot too.

Why is Paris and Lyon showing up on the signs while you’re travelling to Geneva. Its very confusing
@EuropeanRoads5 жыл бұрын
Paris and Lyon are so-called "level 5" destinations on the French signage, the highest possible category, so they appear wherever they are appropriate.
