I have a problem with the former if it means each separate cultural group living their own lives parallel and separate from the broad main national culture, which I really only see in a cohort of Muslims (in France, the UK and elsewhere in Europe). However, I have zero issue with multiethnicism. The colour of your skin bothers me not a jot; it’s only your _ideas_ I care about, and the ideas tend to come into play with ‘multiculturalism’ and separate cultures living side by side.
