🇫🇷 Recap of all the songs entries that have represented France in their history at the Eurovision Song Contest since 1956 to 2024. France debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest 1956. Since then, they have won five editions; in 1958, 1960, 1962, 1969 and 1977. Their worst result is the 26th place reached in 2014. These are all their entries:

My opinions about France in eurovision 🇫🇷: I love France in eurovision, even though they are obviously sending what is already expected from France, a great French power ballad, they are by far the country with the best ballads in eurovision, and even with them sending different things like 2022 they still manage to be amazing, I love the French language and I love to continue hearing more of her in the songs that France sends, and slimane definitely deserved to have more points, as his vocals are out of this world and the language is amazing, I really hope they get another win so soon 🥰🇫🇷

As a french, I'm so proud of the songs we've been sending since 2016, and even more since 2021. Our delegation is so motivated and you can tell by looking at the performance our contestants gave to the contest. They gave us two fan-favorites names in 2023 and 2024. Can't wait to see what they'll bring next year, but I pray for another internal selection. Santa would be an amazing choice, she has that strong and powerful voice like La Zarra and Slimane, and she could sing a piano ballad or a pop banger.

Je pense ça dépendra des artistes qui voudront travailler avec France TV ou non. S'ils n'arrivent pas à avoir un gros nom, ils remettront la finale nationale, ce qui sera pas forcément une mauvaise chose s'ils choisissent correctement le lineup.

@@Thomaaas876 Le problème étant justement le line-up. ITV Studios avait sorti 18 super candidats en 2018 et 2019 mais lorsqu'ils ont choisi de passer les castings en interne, c'était la cata en 2022 et 2023 avec à peine 2 ou 3 titres à potentiel de partir gauche par année, sans parler du copinage (coucou Hélène in Paris). Je préférerais largement une sélection interne, même si ce n'est as un nom très connu comme en 2016 ou 2017, tant que la chanson a un bon potentiel et qu'ils ont une vision précise sur ce qu'ils veulent faire sur scène.

C'est incomprehensible que l"on ne gagne plus l'eurovision depuis et même plusieurs même vu beaucoup de nos chansons On a compris maintenant encore plus samedi, pourquoi en mettant seulement slimane quatrième et quand on voit le vainqueur de cet eurovision.

Umpopular opinion: I don't like these kind of generic ultra-french songs, they're just not my style, like, I liked evidement last year because La zarra was pretty cool, but it's just not my style. Honestly, the day France sent a totally different song in 2022, I felt so pleased, and I thought it was not fair to finnish 24th, that song was my favourite to win that year, I swear.
