New York has two million more inhabitants than Serbia. The New York national team would lose every game by more than fifty points against Serbia. It is incredible that small countries like Serbia and Lithuania can compete with big countries. The concentration of basketball talent in those countries is incomparably higher than in America, which has the best league in the world. If you take into account the money that the American national team has, America should beat every national team by a hundred points, but that is not the case. America will probably win the gold medal, but it is not a success considering that they had to naturalize the second best center in the world, Embiid, to be able to match the Serbian national team. Embiid could have easily qualified with his Cameroon for the Olympics, but he clearly sold out his country and people for money. Wembanyama is too inexperienced to match Jokic, but it is obvious that he will soon become the best basketball player in the world and will dominate for years.

Serbia was convincingly better than Canada at the World Cup. Canada played without Murray, and Serbia without Jokic and four starting players...

Actually, game means nothing, both coaches were trying combinations of players and trying out some ofensive and defensive schemes, this was trully friendly training game and nothing else. And this is the first time team Serbia played with this team, and France, I think, is just second. It was only logical for french coach to force training of actions without Wam, because Wam looked great against Germany, and to train rest of the players, that is why Wam looks like he is not present in this game. On the other side, you could see a lot of Jokić, Micić and Plavšić, but it is becasue most of Serbian players are from last WC, so these 3 are new and need to be trained into the team that already has system.
