The 3 months I spent being homeless was rough, but extremely liberating at the same time. I got to see more of the country, be free of any real schedule or giant responsibility, any stupid emails. Nobody to worry about. Just me, myself and I. Then again, I slept in my car, stayed in the town I had lived in for years prior, had some friends around, and kept busy. I had it way easier than you did. Even then, I only lasted until the start of fall. What you're doing is incredible, even if you don't realize it. My only suggestion, from someone who's spent a fraction of a time in the 'nomadic lifestyle', don't prolong it any more than you need to. If you ever get to that point where you're not enjoying yourself anymore, if things feel too taxing or you feel like the days are passing you by and something's missing, like it's not fun anymore, I hope you can transition to the next part of your journey seamlessly Keep living life unbound to the human construct that is a clock. No matter what happens, I hope you find what you're looking for.
@MaxConaghan2 ай бұрын
That’s really awesome advice, thank you friend🙏

Nomadic is the only real way to live you only do anything else if you can’t handle nomad life and living in a permanent structure quickly makes you unable to be nomadic anymore

One thing I've learned about servers in France is they usually aren't being rude or mean, rather they are doing their job and not trying to be your best friend. American servers are hustling for tips and trying to be your friend in a phony way many times. I appreciate the French style where they aren't constantly interrupting your meal which is supposed to be your time with friends and family, or quiet time alone in your case.

What you describe at the end is 'bonking' - I quote from the internet here - In cycling the term 'Bonk' is used to describe a sudden and dramatic decrease in energy levels during a ride. This can happen when the rider has not eaten or hydrated properly and is a result of the body running out of fuel. It is also known as “hitting the wall” or “bonking”. So get yourself some small snacks or something and eat a little regularly. Also you need to take sips of drink regularly too - otherwise you'll 'bonk' 🤪
@anneyeurism18503 ай бұрын
Second this. You need carbohydrates or your body will run out of energy. Been there many times, trying bringing like a coke or something sugary but stable like gummy bears with you and eat them before you start getting tired to keep this away.

I love the video. And we'd be friends if our paths crossed. But I do question how much of what we do we only do because we can show it. Not that there is something wrong with showing what we do. But it does make you question your motivations, and how much your level of enjoyment is dependent on showmanship. But I guess its that way for everyone from the ballerina to the painter.

the effects of long term starvation/malnutrition coupled with physical exhaustion. thats what you were feeling when you spoke about not being able to move. this is a problem i have dealt with my entire life. been malnourished so much for so long that i can no longer digest food while awake because i dont have enough energy reserve to do so. eating a maximum of 2000 calories per week takes its toll. i really wish all the well off europeans and their loyalists would understand that starving people dont/cant work harder in that state. but i think they already know that and just take great pleasure in gaslighting people into dying from exhaustion making them think they are just whining or being weak...

I spent a few months in North America...there is good thing and bad things just like in France...but it's not necessarily a place where I've seen a lot of kindness and friendliness. I didn't see much of a difference with France or even any of the other countries I visited. Like Paris, which I've visited many times...nothing negative has ever happened to me.. It opened my eyes to the fact that France isn't this hostile, arrogant land of anti-foreigners, something I myself had begun to believe, since I have very little interest in French internet content.
