What about growing hemp and making the greenhouses instead from plastic. Hemp plastic alternative seems sustainable and gives jobs and is more sustainable.

Any old plastic roofing should be disposed of at the bottom of old mine's deep underground, far away from water table's and far away from ocean's. If done this way, yes in the long term if normal houses were coated in a reflective (NON TOXIC) material it could in theory lower the Earths temp over time. But dumping this greenhouse plastics like Spain are doing, is BAD big time.

It is a truth we do not see . 1st. Time seeing the disaster caused by humans way of eating .Before Plastic. There were glass greenhouses . But people ate seasonal food. Preserved summer abundance; tinned, bottled or dried. Apples grew all year round different kinds that the EU has made disappear with absurd rules about size conformity . People would cultivate either themselves or local pensioners with gardening knowledge.. Progress has created the un natural life style . We have created these disasters. Returning to how it was . Too Late water scarce, land earth dead. Explosive population; too many humans on the planet. We have created our destruction.

The problem of plastic is single use plastic yes. Plastic roofs we can probably recycle. That said any plastic pollutes, they are made from fossil fuel which has to be extracted...
