Good morning friend!🙋🏻‍♀️🥰🥰🥰🥰 I’m so intrigued with the whole musk collection from gulf orchid. I love how the juice looks so milky🤓🤗 😮oh my goodness! That’s so much rose in Love Chopard😮🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🤣 🤣🤣🤣 Iv never smelt Joy but I hope it works out. I’m curious to try it myself now🤔🤣

Jamie, I think it's an amazing fragrance, especially for the history, but I think you also won't like it. You like fresh fragrances, and gourmands, but I think the Indole in Joy might be too much, like it was for Frances. I know you like white florals, but this is on another level. But now I know you're even more curious!!🤣😂🤣 Nothing like a scathing review to get people's curiosity up!🤣😂🤣

Auntie Mae sounds adorable!! She was an early inspiration for the elegant lady Frances would become!! Frances!!! One of the things I love about Sagittarius is that they are uncompromisingly HONEST!!😆 Frances darling, I do not think your bottle is off. I definitely think that what you're smelling is what I describe as 'indolic'. That sort of gross smell when flowers just begin to die off and you smell the pollens and other elements besides the pretty flower smell. I usually describe it as the smell that you get when the flowers are at their peak and make you feel like you're going to get hay fever or start sneezing. For me though, the charm in Joy is that it smells so much like real flowers to me, and that it has such rich history but has been discontinued. They no longer make the bottle you have there, when LVMH bought Jean Patou, they discontinued Joy, so no more are in production. (They came out with Dior Joy, but it's not the same at all and I don't think it's trying to be). But I just wanted to make sure I get my last respects in to Joy, at one time the "costliest perfume in the world", but now discontinued. 😔😔😔Frances I am so glad you had the chance to try this and I am sorry it's not your thing, but I appreciate your honest review about it, my friend!!💖💝💝💝 Love, Bo.

She would say that her honesty got her into trouble with her friends and other family members etc. She was honestly the kindest sweetest person but would say to me sometimes, "well I think I hurt so and so's feelings by telling them what I really thought about..." That Chopard bottle!!!! I know Chopard's bottle game is great! I recently bought Chopard Wish, which comes in a gorgeous diamond shaped bottle that sits so elegantly on the counter! I LOVE the looks of this one you're reviewing though!!

Hey Frances… Yes, I’m still loving the Tahara Vanilla! I sprayed it on my winter hat you gave me and now every time I go for a walk….that’s all I can smell when I’m outside. It’s very long lasting on material/clothing. It’ll be interesting to hear what you’re going to say about the Joy.

Yes, that Chopard!!!! I thought you might’ve been pulling out the Guerlain PRN Perfecto… I got that one because of Claire, but I haven’t even opened it yet! lol 😂 That Chopard is a beautiful bottle. 🤗 I love R rose… It sounds like a rose 🌹 bomb. 💣 I’m curious about the cinnamon in there and what it does to the rose. I really like what vanilla does to rose.

The Joy perfume could be different because it’s EDT. That’s the one I bought my sister, but I haven’t actually smelled it yet. I bought the EDP. I’m not sure which one Bo has. I do feel the EDP has a richness and a deepness that is not described about the EDT on Fragrantica.

I have Turkish rose in one of my perfumes. I think it does a good blend with patchouli. I also go for smaller size bottles 30 ml is ideal
