"He can't love you" is such a heartbreaking line. Lucille is telling Lucas, the boy who has been deprived of love and affection for a large part of his life, that the boy he's fallen in love with simply cannot love him back because he's mentally ill. Lucas didn't even care about Eliott's bipolar he just wanted to make sure he was okay but as soon as Lucille said that, he started to question if any of his and Eliott's relationship was true at all. Mentally ill people can and do love, just because they're going through something does not make their feelings and emotions any less real or valid than anyone else's. Just remember, you are not alone. Alt er love ❤️

Eliot might have BPD but I think Lucille has her own mental health issues...a pseudo Factitious disorder imposed by another person (FKA Munchausen by proxy) of sorts where she gains attention and praise from others for her martyrdom and devotion for the "mentally ill" and ungrateful Eliot. There is a major difference between care-giving and caretaking...one is selfless, the other is narcissistic, addictive and codependent. So maintaining control over and alienating Eliot from external sources of validation, affection and love is necessary for Lucille. Hence the hatchet to the heart she gave Lucas. I think she needs their codependency on a fundamental level. Being his "caretaker" and guardian angel seems to have become her primary identity, not girlfriend.

Elina Zettergren I kind of understand her. She was terrified that something has happened to him. She witnessed his other episodes and she knows what would happen to him. It shows how much she cares about Eliott. But I know. Her way of taking care of him is wrong and all. Then she breaks the news about his condition. Axel is a phenomenal actor. Those emotions at the end... so incredible. Max's portrayal of OG Even is unbelievable. Wow. This scene, and the show, is so captivating. Great acting and writing. Pauvre Lucas. Il pensait que Eliott avait sauté dans l'eau et il était inquiet. Puis elle annonce la nouvelle de son état. Axel est un acteur phénoménal. Ces émotions à la fin… si incroyables. La représentation de OG Even par Max est incroyable. Sensationnel. Cette scène et le spectacle sont si captivants. Excellent jeu et écriture.

i might sound like a broken record for always saying this every day but axel auriant deserves all the awards & appreciation 👏 the frustration, confuse, worry, hurt, he embodied it all here. i couldn’t ask for more or for a better actor to do this because he is the only one who can portray lucas lallemant with this emotions, he is a great artist of motion. his eyes tells all, his expressions tells what he feels, he’s really that good and that makes me want to cry 😭
