I know precisely that look on Lucas´s face when Elliot started talking nonsense. I experienced the same thing with my girlfriend (at that time). Although she is not diagnosed yet (but we are working on it) I´m pretty sure she has a borderline personality disorder. She would get all excited talk exactly like Elliot... it wouldn´t make much sense and honestly for the "outside" person it can be pretty scary. But like Lucas I wouldn´t care much because... we all talk shit sometimes. The real problem are following actions. My girlfriend never really did anything stupid when she was high on positive feelings (because that´s really how it looks like) but when she fell down to depression and negativity... that´s when she would do messed up things. Getting drunk af, ignoring me, self-harm, purposely making decisions that would make her feel even worse. For an outside person the hardest part is that you can´t really do much... just watch, be there for her (even when she pushes you away). Every time it was harder for her to come back to normal. Eventually it became too much for me because I was also struggling with mental problems so I had to end the relationship. Not gonna lie I still like her but this on and off relationship would literally kill me at some point... it really fucking hurts both sides. Anyway I got a little bit better, she dates a different girl, we are friends again and I´m trying to get her a treatment she deserves. I just wanted to thank SKAM for showing the scary part you can experience while falling in love with mentally ill person. It´s no joke, not romantic, really exhausting... but worth it if you love each other. Kudos to actors for incredible performace... you deserve an Oscar.

I am constantly re-watching this season from a writer's point of view, but I can't help but notice the directing, editing, and music. It makes me inspired to do more other than writing. Maxence's acting is brilliant here. He really went there! Also, notice how the background sound changes when Elliot does. The whole atmosphere changes as the sound gets dark and somewhat eerie when Elliot is talking. An echo is also used when he is talking to show that something is off. Then when he's done, the sound goes back to normal. It made the scene more authentic and made it feel REAL. This show was well thought out, produced, directed, and acted. It truly has left me inspired. Merci.

i watched this without eng. sub when it first drop in their official site. the scenery & mood really fits their lovely date before it all went down, the tension between the characters are so real & tender. the color tones when they made love emitted a color of flame that correlates to intimacy. I would like to give my appreciation for maxence here, when he did that scene where he was talking to axel, the bipolar tendencies of eliott shows by the way he talked happily but the dialogue was opposite to it. maxence gave me the same feeling when henrik first did this scene in the og. a feeling of confuse, worry & concern whereas lucas might also felt that time when eliott talked to him. Not only that, the editing of zoom & constant shots while maxence did his scene also gave a certain mood to it that this scene blends well. So yes, kudos to maxence for portraying eliott demaury 👏
