I don't buy Pops based on value. I buy what I like. I feel like that's the reason the "community" is falling apart. Alot of people are just in it for the business. I get that but you cant confuse the business side + the community. Two completely different things. I dont ever plan to sell my Funko's so idc bout the PPG value. IF you're in it for the money, you're in it for the wrong reasons imo. Funko On lol

Finally someone else has said I said months ago and got my ass handed to me about 🙌😂 I 100% agree with you and it's exactly why I've got funko.. Collect what I want/like not for profits(couldn't care less) paying the price for hoarding boxes for year expecting to cash in even more

@ 4:30 minute mark - Clint, you should be praising your wife for bringing you home food instead of lamenting the interruption of the reveal. It was very nice of her. We should all be that lucky. Also, I heard you have the Nacho Libre Funko Pop Chase market cornered. Congratulations, sir.
@lovepets2781Ай бұрын
Thank you Clint for all your Funko videos. I really enjoy all your content no matter what it is, you are smart to just hold onto sign Funko Pops for your personal collection for I feel they will have a good chance holding value cause of the autographs.

Many Funko KZbinrs buy crazy amounts and talk about how they made a profit. I want to see a behind the scenes video of Pops being sold and how much they actually make? Obviously the videos help pay for this hobby. I want to see the hoard of pops not sold. :P

i dont remember a time when Krusty was EVER that expensive. PPG is/was terrible and they are correcting it. i'm not surprised you dont talk about how terrible PPG has been since you own stake in that company

I feel like prices are dropping bc inflation is so bad, people are selling at any chance they can to make bills, buy food, ect. Collectibles as a whole are getting hit hard bc people just don’t have money to buy and collect anymore.
@wbh1975Ай бұрын
I've heard PPG and HDB are fixing prices brining them down. Anyone else heard the same?
@tiggerpatchvintage1826Ай бұрын
I suggest anyone that has collected Funkos start hunting autographs for them. That is the only way i see them holding any value. It is the only thing it has over beanie babies at this point.
@Decade_of_the_DawgАй бұрын
Collectors don't care about values. Greedy flippers do. There are some grails I'd love to have but wouldn't dare spend these stupid inflated prices for them. This is the market going back to the pre-pandemic values.
@bkahn702Ай бұрын
Pre Covid and during Covid everything go inflated.. everything is going back to its real value. Just watch, like anything once the economy turns around so will the price of all resell items, Funko’s are not special.
@Decade_of_the_DawgАй бұрын
Thank you. Glad to see someone using common sense instead of regurgitating what they hear on the internet.
@tison7208Ай бұрын
PPG also is a victim of price manipulation, and price update lag. PPG was never accurate, and mystery boxes use them to their advantage to sell you cheaper pops for inflated prices
@mikefuller5115Ай бұрын
It's like beanie babies.They were such a big hit to begin with, but now the markets flooded with them and they're dropping in price.Or should I say have dropped in price?You can't get rid of them
@superj2644Ай бұрын
Definitely not like beanie babies. Beanie babies were priced high for a the first 2 or 4 years and then ty went to make other plushes which still sell well to this day. Funko pops were not worth much of anything when they first came out, until they became popular in 2018. They got popular again in 2020.

The two Funko Pops shops near me went out of business just this summer. The one couple sold their personal collection, and the entire store, back in July. They said they were losing a money everyday on their personal collection of Pops, so they closed up. The other guy said he was getting less and less foot traffic, so he closed his shop as well. Funkos are no longer popular. The people that are holding out are just going to lose their entire value. These aren't comics or trading cards, they will not hold value long term
@Decade_of_the_DawgАй бұрын
That's why the funko shop still sells out their pieces immediately right? The only people complaining are resellers and people who don't actually have a clue what's going on and just repeat what they hear on the internet. Which one are you?
@superj2644Ай бұрын
To be fair the funko store is no different then a store selling funkos. In my state I have the funko hq and a store selling funko pops both still get heavy foot traffic every day.

I reached out to Clint a few years ago to sell my collection, told him we could FaceTime my collection if he wanted, and he never got back to me. I suspect he didn't want to spend what I was asking which I disclosed, or he had doubts, or, he was too busy or not buying at the time? I really don't know. I sold my collection early last year and came out way ahead, thank god. Sometimes I will look at the current values of the grails I owned in the past and many of them, have lost $200 - $300 in value. Had I kept the collection, I had, I would have lost over $23,000 dollars easily. I had 980ish pops, with most of them being early pops from the first 7 or so years. I had many doubles as my then GF bought the same ones I did. Clint is going to lose his ass, but, he collects for the autos, so for him, he is less concerned with the value of the pop itself, as the value is in the autographs for him.
