The glass piece can still be used. The part that was chipped is just for connecting tubing. The tubing is pushed up to the third ridge on the nipple.

that chemistry glassware would still work, even with the chip - you generally put a piece of tubing onto each of those outlets it is a fairly large bubbler of some sort

Recommend that the water filters be categorized as trash, guaranteed they are used and don't work. These filters have an internal device that measures the flow of water through them and when the limit is reached water will not flow and will have to get a new one for an icemaker/water dispenser to work. But since externally nothing will change, they are a prime candidate for switcharoo returns since they are expensive ($60 or so new).

The problem with the Frigidaire water filter is that people buy a new one and then return the used one, saying that it was the wrong model. Chances are that almost everyone of those that is returned has already been used. They last about 6 months.

I don't know if you have already researched why there were two handles, but I just had to know why! If you didn't know already...it make sense really! It's so when you do the ritual hand wash, you use the first handle before you wash, and the second is for after you have washed hands...
