I love listening to this message in cantonese. Francis is speaking in such a simple and plain way that even a child in HK can understand what he is trying to say! Not having fancy vocabs actually makes it so much more straight forward

This is not speaking in tongues. He's just speaking in Cantonese which he is probably fluent in. Speaking in tongues is completely different. It usually not a human language. Ocassionally the Holy Spirit will allow someone to speak a human language that they are have no earthly knowledge of to touch someone else who is within ear shot to have a unique encounter with God. My godmother does not speak Chinese but on English and Spanish in the middle of her speaking in tongues in a service, God caused her to speak Chinese and native Chinese visitor heard her testify and speak the mysteries of God in the midst of her praise. Everything she said was not Chinese obviously. That person talked to her after service in English and told what she heard. My godmother was pleasantly surprised because she doesn't know Chinese at all. I'm not sure if it was Manadarin, Cantonese or a local dialect. I've heard of other cases like this too, especially during Azusa Street revivals. But even heavenly languages of speaking in tongues, God at times will give us the interpretation even in our personal prayer time so that our spirit and soul will understand, be strengthened and prosper in Him.
