God has to change your heart- some people have the gift He has given them- they LOVE Him. I don't. I try and wish I did- things would be so much easier. I seek like crazy so its not cuz I dont pray enough because I pray a lot and not for dumb stuff. I spend time in the Word and don t just check the box on most days- I have to read it over and over and look stuff up. To grow. To be more like Jesus. To change my heart. For hinds feet. So I know what you mean in your sermon Mr. Chan.

Yes yes brother ephesians 3-14 again and that verse in john 15 about how much God loves us that's huge but so hard to grasp may Father God open the eyes of our heart to receive the word of God which is alive an sharper then a two edged sword all glory be to the Father through our Saviour an yes your right it's our heart that is issue other things are just the symptoms ezekiel 36-26 is the foundation to seeing true change, keep going brother I thank God I came to your channel 🙌❤🙏

8:20 - maybe if a god that actually existed that is capable of demonstrating, providing, showing, giving his love to people who desire it would be something to consider. But putting the onus on you, the supposed recipient of this god's love, to "know" or "understand" just shows how one sided this relationship really is; but more apt in my judgement, why this is good reason to believe this god either doesn't actually exist or is incredibly arbitrary/persnickety/ambivalent about doling out it's love. If the latter, you'd be far better off placing your relational energy into relationships that have a much better track record.

and now further in... 12:44 - does Jesus love you? "I am not going to talk you into that right now" - the precious irony that this is exactly what any and all preachers are doing when they stand at the pulpit and talk over people. How unawarely ignorant this is. and then around 19:00 - if you would even have a sliver of doubt that the almighty, most powerful, maximally great and loving God love you AUD if you would say that you know that you know that you know that you love him, you should immediately be confident that this god either does not exist or that you do not have the accurate picture of him, because you in fact, are now more powerful than him.

OK, all finished. This is borderline abusive. This my friends, is the way that believers are thrust into the vicious guilt/shame cycle. You don't feel the love of God? Your fault; do more, read more, beg more, cry more, suffer more, endure greater hardships and then God might, just might come out to play.

I just had to let go and God took all of my shame/ guilt. I now give because I’m convicted by the spirit. I do it because I want to from my heart not because I have to do this and that to get that. It has to be experienced just by cracking the door . Just leave it open a little. I too did not believe and taught my children to not believe until I had a complete spiritual experience. Even the terrible abuse I endured and relived for years has been removed. I give it to him and follow a few rules and he does the rest. I can’t even believe this is my life now! I pray the same for you and was once where you are at❤
