Sure it's an opinion, it also comes down to how you use your PC. I do agree with whats best for you is best for you. There's no denying that. But I don't get why you don't understand why mac's get so much hate. I have used a mac, I've used them in a media course and my friend also owns one. But I think they should only be used to edit but you have to admit the hardware isn't exactly what you paid for. From what I can see from getting a Mac Pro is that you are paying around £400 for an os.

Wow, you were starting to scare me at the end there, but yeah, I'm pretty much done with consoles. Having played consoles solely from about 1995-2005, then 2006-2010 or so I played mostly consoles but tinkered with computer games. 2011-present, I'm pretty much solely playing on Steam. Once I got used to gaming on the keyboard, and learned how to mod, it's simply a completely different experience. Red Orchestra, STALKER, Amnesia, Mount & Blade, Steam Specials, mods, what more need be said?

No I'm doing something really right! The average Joe doesn't know how to handle computers and can't put them together themselves. Then there is of course the warranty and shipping costs and of course taxes. So in total you might have spend 1500 for a PC. If that is still wrong then you're not getting a top notch PC. OR you are investing a LOT of time finding that right deal. And why not go for a top notch PC? That's the only reason to beat a console...

Review for it says "ultra-short battery life". Fact of the matter is you don't buy a MacBook or an iMac because you're looking for the most GHz. It's for a complete package (lightweight, highly recyclable, long battery life, etc.) and the OS. To say it's dumbed down to the point where it's not usable is silly - if Windows was made more intuitive you'd no doubt call it advancement, you just have a predisposition in which you dislike Mac. However the one button mouse is awful, I concur.

Ok thats a valid point and a casual observer would most definitely agree with ur statement. For me, hardware has always been secondary. I buy a mac for osx, but i think u get more than you think. You get the best trackpad, best keyboard, slim metal enclosure, top rated in us customer service, and great battery. Also osx updates only cost $30 whereas windows updates cost little over 100 and require an activation code and are confusing as hell. Also msft constantly change the look and feel of win

Old games would require emulation because the architecture of the xbone is fundamentally different compared to the 360, and emulation is a very hard thing to do on any hardware and maybe would require too much programming. About the reselling: my understanding was that microsoft wants to go completely digital, kind of like steam. And it was really a great idea if they had explained it properly. Among the most coolest features would have been fast diskless game switching

About the xbox thing, i mostly agree, though i believe a lot of the problem was lack of clarity and lack of direction. All the ideas if u assess them in a vacuum are very advanced and innovative but Microsoft didnt present them as so. They never explained the advances and features properly and they didnt explain why the limitations existed. For what its worth, sony won by default because it was the other console. The playstation is pretty much the same old but with updated specs

TBH its really subjective. Ive used many operating system (Windows ME-8, many linux distros, Mac os 10.5-10.8) and i have to say apart from gaming i have no desire to leave mac os. Its an opinion that is adopted by a very large portion of people and still to date is beat down constantly. If you boil it down to a spreadsheet, apple will always loose. But a good product can't be measured that way. You need to read reviews and use it. I just don't understand the hostility some people have to macs
