I was watching the same thing, plus when he is tired, he doesn't lift his left arm/elbow in time (check 02:58) - that's a muscle memory that he needs to change. This is not MMA where he needs to last 5 rounds, in the upper rounds he may get hitted easily.

Dude is holding back yet his trainer is gets what is demanded from him. He may not be the best boxer but he has crazy efficiency, good technique combined with his strength. I somehow agree with you training and real fight are two different things, like you say in training you perfecting the craft and real fight he can't relax like you see one other thing it's tricky with heavyweights one punch can make one see stars very quick so I won't underestimate any all you need is accuracy and awareness yes there are a lot of technicalities but ooh man just one accurate punch with power ends it all in this division.

I really like Francis, but I feel bad for him. He is going to get absolutely embarrassed. His first fight should have been against Thor, the strong man who has been boxing. Ngannou needs to use his advantage inside. He knows his strengths having the MMA skill set. He needs to snap more with ferociousness and viciousness to unleash his inner Iron Mike. His lower body hooks look the strongest so I wonder if they'll implement a game plan of hooks to the body with over head rights. Fury can take rib shots all day but the peek a boo style could really possess some potential challenges for tyson being so tall. Being a big fan of Fury I can only give massive respect to Francis for stepping up whilst remaining humble. No doubt his native roots will bring him strength and honour.

His accuracy is off, when he strikes he has slow reaction time because he adjusts to aim and he very clearly not trying to hit the guy by accident by going fast, but this will still be a problem in the big match because if he does this in the match he’ll get hurt very quickly, if he gives up accuracy for ko blows he’ll tire himself out. Overall though ngannou still has the advantage but he’ll have to work on a game plan.
