To be fair Tyson fights dirty most of the time lol. Thing is after he got knocked down he ramped it up to avoid getting fked up. Im a fan of both guys, i think Fury won (based on the rules of boxing, very close decision though). Anyways I just brought that up because Fury has his fight with Usyk in Dec. or Feb. so I think he wanted to minimize the damage he took in that bout. Either way Francis kicked ass, Im happy for him.

Ye indeed, as a boxing fan, who assumed Fury would have won BUT I felt the danger of Francis and the odds were shit so I didn't bet on this fight as I mostly would on such fights. I feel like Ngannou deserved the win, Fury really was nowhere in this fight, he usually is a class above his opponent but here, he didn't land significant shots but got caught with some himself so.. Impressive really that Ngannou pulls this off without real pro boxing expierence, especially against basicallly the undisputed heavyweight champion. @Freedomtospeak17 ай бұрын
Two things wrong with your remark NO OFFENSE not being confrontational here. 1) The opening remark is irrelevant. They fought in a boxing ring and these crossovers benefit the MMA fighter with greater financial gains. You know that. It doesn’t matter what would likely occur in the octagon. 2) If you rewatch the fight go round by round, there’s no question Fury threw more punches, landed more punches. Fury won on points in what should’ve been a unanimous decision. As usual one ref gets it wrong. Fans are resorting to feelings not facts. CompuBox supports my viewpoint too. Francis had two good moments - one where he threw a series of punches which put Fury on the defense, and of course the knockdown. Other than that there wasn’t anything significant. Was this a below average effort / outing by “Fury’s standards” ?? Yes absolutely but the fact remains, Fury won and it should’ve been unanimous !!!😊
@Freedomtospeak17 ай бұрын
@@KereTista-km9ck - No he didn’t. He had the big moment with the knockdown and one major flurry. The sheer fact is this - Tyson Fury threw more, landed more, and the stat sheet backs this up. This was the best case scenario for everyone involved. Francis lost, but he left that arena as a certified menace against boxing and will get more money fights. Can you imagine how much money Dana would have made if he compromised and promoted this fight with Francis? Imagine if Dana gave Francis a 3-fight contract with a boxing crave out. While Francis trains for this Tyson fight, Dana allows Jon Jones v Ciryl Gane for interim heavyweight and next year the UFC heavyweight unification super-fight between Francis and Jon.

Francis wanted health insurance and higher pay for all fighters, that was the issue not the boxing

Actually, Floyd & TMT, promoted that fight. Dana was never on the stage during promotions. Dana, who represents the UFC, couldn't be a part of TMTs promoting one of their events. SHOWTIME financed TMT, and Floyd sat back and let Conor promote their fight. He knew Conor could get ufc/mma fans to buy ppvs. Same with Tyson Fury. He knew mma fans would pay his promotion in ppv purchases. As Dana always states, "this is business..." 🤑🤑

Oh you're a wrestler now. You're a wrestler. I love it. Mojahed captired the hugging so damn well. Fury was hugging on for dear life. The man was scared if Ngannou connected a second time it would be lights out

I m still in disbelieve that Francis almost beat Fury yesterday. Fury has never lost a fight in 34 fights(to good boxers), and he almost lost to Francis who is making his boxing debut. A lot of people think Francis won the fight.

It just shows theres no point training in boxing. Its the one sport where anyone can best you even if you sre the champ and trained your whole life. This doesn@5 happen in MMA. When an uppity idiot enters the octagon, the fighter always beats him like a dog Its because of time. Everything in boxing happens in 0.05 seconds. But in MMA, there is always more time and hesitation. More thinking time means the gap in Experience, knowledge and skill shows itself better.

Considering the intricate details of Mojahed's animations, I didn't expect that he would miss Francis' landing and bruise on Fury's forehead in Round 2 🙆♂
