Retrogaming Insanity yes power of people that is correct but no banks can't do anything cause its not their job. a bank can't take money back once its been transferred, sometimes they can end a pending transfer if it hasn't left your account yet but then you got the fact that you agreed to pay them. the telecommunication ombudsman job is to make sure all telecommunication companies are doing their job and not cheating people.so first you talk to the company then ombudsman and then and only then go to press cause press has lots of power to change things

Yes, your bank does indeed have the power to reverse your previous transactions by force. After I unsubbed from WoW, Blizz still charged my bank account. No one from Blizz would cooperate or even acknowledge that they stole from me, so I contacted my bank and they reversed the transaction days after it happened and blocked Blizz from charging my account further. I've done the same thing with Netflix as well as Centurylink. Centurylink was giving me less than a third of the bandwidth I was paying for, they didn't cooperate in either giving me what I paid for or giving me a refund. My bank got my money back from them by force after I explained the situation well over two weeks into the pay period after the auto-charge to my account. I've done this personally more than once, I promise that it works if you're being cheated and your bank does their job in the slightest.

I had a problem with a program and I went through customer support and they said router losing 60% of the information and to tell my isp. so I sent them an email pretty much copying and pasting the information that the guy sent me, I even had the IP address and they came back and said to trace route. so I did a trace route and it came back saying 1 * * * 2 * * *. so I told them that and their reply was do a trace route. so I did it again and the same thing, this went on for like 10 emails each way till I gave up.

I did 3rd party tech support for Cox Cable for a little while. One thing you couldn't do was hang up on the customer. You just had to take the verbal abuse. I certainly remember the standard procedure of resetting the modem, then bypassing the router if it didn't work. Also, a tip if you have Cox Cable and are having internet issues, have them check your T3 (inside of home signal) and T4 (outside of home signal) levels. It will help identify where the issue could be. If you have T3 signal loss, about half the time it is an issue with a splitter causing signal degradation. Any issues with T4 signal loss, and its on Cox to fix it.
