Thank you so much 👏❤️…. There was a day ….I went to l’Abrie in Switzerland for a church meeting (juste as a visitor as I lived near by) . The room was more than full when Dr. Francis Schaeffer came in and was looking for a place (he was not speaking that day). But no chair empty anymore… He came looking around also where I sat, as he could have been my father…I stood up to leave to him “my” seat. Very kindly he said: “if you think you can sit on the floor for one hour, I can do so too” … This dear man sat humbly on the floor beside me…for the whole service! Looking forward to meet this man of God in eternity 🦋☀️

After I got 'saved and sober" in '81 in the ecosystem of God's Creation, I was turned onto "A Christian Manifesto" by Francis Schaeffer, by a Prolife leader of the Operation Rescue movement in America. His God-given insights on post Christian society are priceless!!

Read Frances Schaefer's books. He was so wise. I love reading his amazing books and they make so much since of our curent world.

One cannot underestimate Schaeffers teaching on postmodern humanism. Today we are exactly in that time Schaeffer was talking about. Maranatha! Hope for more parts to get additionally some insides of life in L’Abri. Your interview is extremely helpful. Thank you!

I went to Tabor Bible College in Sydney Australia in the late 90's. We had lecturers from various Christian traditions as were most of the students. We had an Anglican Minster visit for 3 days and he lectured on Francis Schaeffer. I was surprised how few people had heard of Schaeffer and what he was talking about and I was even more surprised how little the impact of this teaching had on the College, even 10 years later. Eventually my wife and I purchased Schaeffer's entire collection and video's and discovered a L'Abri in Sydney which we attended for 5 years. Our lives were changed forever. In the past 10 years we have been reading Adolf Schlatter and others like him. Thank you for the video.

Such wonderful explications of things Schaeffer said. I have been reading him since the mid 80's and think his writing is why I always think that the true truth is exactly the opposite of what I see and hear in the world around me.

I’m wondering about the Separation of Church and State, Tolerance, and Individual Rights in this whole discussion. Have people forgotten about these essential things? A review of the 17th Century, the Puritans, Roger Williams and the clash between science and religion is needed.

Hi Gabriel, I understand where you are coming from although there is a fine balance here. God does not need us to establish the truth of the Scriptures. However, within the church, when theologians and ministers deny God's revealed truth, we have to contend like Paul did in Gal 2 etc?

Doesn't this blow Cessationism out of the water? We have a supernatural God. I think that any kind of "Christian" faith that denies that is illegitimate at least at that point. II Timothy 3:5

Depends on how you define cessationism. Cessationists in regards to tongues etcetera don't deny miracles occur.
