I am fortunate to belong to a Parish that offers the TLM once each Sunday. In fact, the NO at our Parish is said with the Priest facing “East”. I am very thankful that our Pastor delivers this level of tradition and that our Bishop supports our Parish. Clearly, though, our lives will change dramatically should this all disappear someday. I did. Bought a Fr. Lasance New Roman Missal. I was an altar boy and served the TLM from about 1957 to 1966, when I graduated from HS. The N.O. Gutted the mass and liturgy. What the modernist did, what Bugnini did horrendous!

I missed mass on Sunday a few times due to no fault of my own (one time I was staying at a non catholic relative home, no transportation...didn't even think about the fact I missed until I finally got home. But it truly was no fault of my own due to the circumstances. At the home I rode back to Minnesota with my aunt and two of my very young cousins I didn't know I'd be up there for nearly a week. Or I might have packed something for church...but uncle was a Fallen away and went to Lutheran church (but not every week ). I wasn't even going to the TLM yet or I would have been in major trouble..perhaps my parents would have retrieved me themselves themselves instead of getting me on one way flight back home.

I have just acquired the Word on Fire Pope Benedict XVI reader and that will be my onsolation together with the Great Adventure Bible. In that way it is possible not to think too much about what is going on St the level of Pope Francis. Also Cardinal Burke's 9 month Novena is a great support! ❤

I read a lot of people saying the Church abandoned them. Jesus said the gates of Hell shall not prevail. Even a corrupt priest can effect Sacraments including the pivot of our Union with Christ, the Blessed Sacrament. Anthony has mentioned many options to continue even if that means SSPX. There are many holy and good Novus Ordo priests who show great reverence to the Blessed Sacrament. We may not like it, but it is not an invalid Mass. We must stay in the boat, no matter the storm, Jesus will calm the storm in His time. You want active participation AND ancient tradition, come experience a Divine Liturgy of St John Crysostum. I recommend a Ruthinian Rite for your average American as its not ethnic at all, and all the Divine Liturgies are said in the vernacular, some of the others are said in their particular languages, like Ukrainian, Romanian etc. It's chanted, and the laity is CONSTANTLY in dialog with the priest and deacon. There's NO REASON to leave the church because your patrimony has been stolen from you, as you can still have Tradition, beauty, AND the true catholic faith

The TLM isn't the only thing that defines Traditional Catholics. I define myself as a Traditional Catholic and I have yet to attend a post-concilier Latin Mass. Francis just doesn't like Catholics who risist his liberal views, especially regarding James Martin issues. As far as leaving the church goes, haven't we already left, mentally? I just want to get in and get out because I don't trust my priest and I feel the church is no longer in communion with my long-held doctrinal and Biblical beliefs. That is a real jolt. I hold firmly to my faith in a church that is rapidly fading away! At some point the yeast won't rise!

Our diocesan priest has been celebrating the TLM for around three years. But, if the Bishop bans it, he will not continue. We have a TLM parish about an hour away, but it is also a diocesan parish, so I don’t know what will happen.

So if the Latin mass is 100% banned. There is a SSPX church in phoenix 2.5 hrs away. So I can probably do that maybe twice a month. There is a ruthian church in Tucson and a Ukrainian church that is reverent in Tucson that I could go to that are union with RC church But I won’t go to a NO mass. I would hope the SSPX expands

I so agree with your comments on active participation, Anthony. I actually prefer a low mass as it creates an atmosphere conducive to real contemplation of the sacrifice that is happening on the altar. Admittedly all the lovely little children present can be a distraction; but you get used to it, and after a while it becomes like white noise that you just don't really hear any more.

The nearest TLM IS HOURS FROM ME. I am blessed to have a weekly NO Mass that is very reverent with incense, multiple altar servers in gloved hands, chant, Latin prayers. It has a kneeler up by the altar for those who want to receive by kneeling. The altar boys hold the paten. Alternately, a town about a half hour from me has such a Mass once a month as well.

He can’t ban a Latin mass. Rather- bishops don’t have to follow a ban. This is not an example of infallibility. So, ignore the ban. Simple.

If this can be useful to anyone, I offer it. When I can't get to the TLM , I sometimes go to SPANISH MASS. N.O. I don't speak much Spanish. So I pray the rosary during Mass. I can't follow the homily in Spanish -- so I pray quietly during that time. I speak English, but if I don't ho to TLM, then Spanish Mass can be beautiful for me because the language barrier gives me more quiet time. I do go to N.O. at times. If TLM is canceled here I will probably often go to Spanish Mass.

😮Yes I have found a great n o Church where I live in Spain. I don't speak Spanish either and in some respects I am sad as his Sermons sound as if they might be good. He says parts of the Mass in Latin which is great. He is extremely reverent and yesterday and on other Thursday we ha Adoration of The Blessed Sacrament before Mass.

Rome and the Papacy is no longer Catholic, therefore no one is leaving the Church as the Church is no longer in existence. We, the fideles crucis, are merely preserving the orthodox Catholic Faith that has been abandoned by Bergoglio and his lapsi and going towards Christ that is all. We are rallying round HIM, HIS Cross, HIS altar and HIS Mass. Rome is barren ground.

Thank you, Anthony, for another great 'cast! I so appreciate your calm and balanced presentations on YT - my only social media. I know that, in the long run, nothing BerGOGlio does will be permanent. He has publicly shown himself to be a manifest heretic, and his "works" will be burned up. HE, and those who believe what he believes, have left the Church. Not we. I hate thinking of the Church's particularly blind sheep, following his "teachings", though. If they do not inform themselves of True, Magisterial Teachings they, too, have left the Church...they just don't know it!! 😭💔 We *must* Pray, FAST, do Penance, and Sacrifice for them, including BerGOGlio (even though his actions, attitudes, and words often sicken us). He, too, is a soul needing salvation! While there is breath, there is Christian Hope. Let us practice the Virtues, in all earnestness, for the Lost, *_for the sake of our own Salvation!_* Failure to do so will likely be counted by God as a lack of the Virtue of Charity on our part, and we will pay for that.
