I entered the Catholic faith from Baptist and found Catholics when I entered in 1995 shy our not speaking about there faith. They seem to be private people. One person told me I don't think we should be converting people. Which is against scripture and why wouldn't we want to share salvation with someone?

Steve, I just watched three of your videos, two short ones and this long one. They were all great. I'm so glad that I found those in support of the Church. I have watched so many anti Catholic videos produced by evangelical protestants that make me wonder. They truly believe that they are the one true Church to Jesus Christ and Salvation. They quote solely through scripture. Our traditions and practices are paganistic in their view. We pray to the saints. To them we're worshiping idols. We follow tradition like practicing the sacraments. All this means nothing in their view because it wasn't stated in the bible. When we receive the Body and Blood of Christ in the Eucharist they make the comparison to the Jews in Levicitius when they sacrificed animals on the altar in the temple to God. As you said they have changed the wording of scripture. They believe that since many Catholic practices aren't stated in scripture including the belief of our heavenly mother, Mary, it's considered paganism. I was watching an anti catholic video. The person being interviewed called himself a Christian Evangelical Catholic. His mission seemed to be to free all people from the Roman Catholic Church and make them become the true Catholic Faith as a Christian Evangelical Catholic. This individual has produced several videos including Idolatry Of Mary. This I find totally disheartening. I believe this individual has produced sixteen anti catholic videos. I will add that where I live many people are anti catholic and voice their displeasure at those who keep to their Catholic faith and will not convert to become protestant. I have personally experienced this.

Thank you so much! Another wondeful talk by apologist Stephen Ray. This one made me sad, though. It was hard to listen to what the early Christians went through and how similar our culture is now to the pre-Christian Roman empire.

I know this is 10 years ago. Overall, good video, Mr. Ray made some good points regarding being a true witness to Christ and what that entails. However, the only part that needs twigging is the part when he talks about how he come face to face with God and his name is in the good books then his neighbor ends up going to hell...etc. someone who doesn't know Jesus and the Christian way of life would certainly not go to hell. God could not judge a soul for not knowing. To commit a mortal sin the person would have to have full knowledge that it is a sin and fully consent to it. But other then that, good message.

Men take their hats in sign of respect; women are allowed to keep them. It’s a matter of etiquette. If a man keeps his hat on that’s not mortal sin.
