Paul is absolutely underrated. He plays so beautifully. He understood what story the composer wanted to tell and what emotion the composer wanted to express. He delivered all of them gracefully, His play is incredibly touching.

As a fellow violinist, I always HATED hearing this piece coming from practice rooms. But after discovering Paul Huang play the Brahms G Major Sextet, I searched his name and came upon this video. I can’t believe how beautiful he makes this piece. It almost feels as though I’m hearing it for the first time… 🥹 props to the pianist, as well! So much passion and sensitivity from both artists.

Paul Huang is truly amazing! I started following him after watching his Saint Saens sonata performance on youtube years ago. His playing is impeccable! He deserves much larger stages.

He truly is! His playing for Saint Saën's Fantasie for Violin and Harp is a real highlight for us as well. Thanks for listening!

The violin tone in the third movement is absolutely incredible-the delicacy, simplicity, and even the slight roughness/hoarseness in the lower registers is breathtaking.

Do You Like Brahams will always be synonymous with Franck's Violin Sonata in A-maj. I only heard Clara Jumi and Perlman play this piece and came across this video on my feed. There is a lot of passion and thought that is demonstrated and it is a well don performance 😊!!

Oh! so beautiful Franck Sonata it is. I happened to listen to. not only Paul Huang, but also Gilles Vonsattel, I would appreciate very beginning of first movement, as Mr. Vonsattle played so so fantastic and beautiful 4 bars introduction, because I cannot help feeling that triplet music is so difficult one for our Asian people, especially for us Japanese. perhaps the length of 8 note is so so mysterious, according to quarter note is also. By the way, I was moved with Vonsattel introduction, yeah! veryvery graceful and mysterious. sorry strange English. (92yrs.Japanese)
