Franco Corelli Rhode Island concert: 3 Neapolitan songs

Have you ever heard Franco's 1967 Concert in Providence? If not then I may have to do something about that! For now, here are a few highlights of the evening. The sound quality is iffy and outdoorsy, but worth the effort. These are some of my all-time favorite interpretations of these songs. One of his less-publicized moments of very sensual and expressive singing. Some very beautiful and unusual touches. My favorite being the Core N'grato. The phrasing of that "grato" at 2:07 is so raw and unaffected. Nothing but real emotion in this concert.
