Kinda made it sound like it was a result of some kind of deal he made. English is not his native language I assume, and it’s probably also me being way too high.

@@kaisarion6668 Tobias believes that there's a balance to life; something good for every bad thing that happens, something bad for every good thing that happens. Since he lost Sebastian right after Ghost's demo got picked up, he felt that he had to make a "trade". Apparently, that traumatized him pretty badly because he's said in another interview that now anytime everything starts going really well in his life, he gets paranoid that something horrible is waiting around the corner to "even things out". It's pretty heartbreaking. kzbin.infoUgkxFrve3Ntq6FDCAhWRDXrzUStUxjWGjR_g

It's the German dubbing! Tobias doesn't speak German in this, it's another speaker translating Tobias remarks from English to German. That's always the case in German TV, literally EVERYTHING gets dubbed into German.

Hearing Tobias’s voice quiver when he said “exchange” was a total kick in the soul. It must’ve felt like an actual deal with the devil at the time; a successful band, but it he lost Sebastian.

It's because German and Swedish pronunciation is more or less the same! They're related languages, german north frisian dialect aka low German dialect and Swedish sound extremely similar and many words just have a little shift in one letter from one language into the dialect of the other one and vice versa.

"to bang whomever you wanna bang" God damn Forge!😂 But all that he said is true. Religion would be much better without people threatening other people with the name of a god. Many religious people like to tell other people to do a certain something, or you will be sent to hell. This album was a blast just like all the others. TF truly has an emotional connection to music. Cheers.

Religion has always been used for social control, but pointing fingers at it does not make you smart, and throwing it all away will just leave you an even bigger set of problems. Poor guy is still dealing with the trauma cause by the passing of his brother. I wish them the best, on his journey, and hope that he has the strength to come out of the other side, stronger, wiser, and happy.
