I bought a bottle before the Memorial Day weekend to bring to a neighborhood party (neighborhood full of serious bourbon lovers). It was a huge hit. I really enjoyed how you approached this enigmatic bourbon. I bought another bottle and probably should have bought more.

Thanks guys. This turned into an event for me. Wanted a good burden for my bar at home. Wanted to appear sexy & knowledgeable when guests' see my bar.. lol I know..lol.,.anyway I watched a few reviews about Frank August, because they hit a homerun with the bottle, but they are keeping their cards close to the chest as you guys also stated when it comes to anything specific about the Bourban itself. Love your review, & I'm done fighting it. Just gonna buy the sexy bottle & enjoy it. Will be watching you guys, keep up the great work...jb...

It really doesn’t matter as long as it’s good. They probably have a non disclosure agreement that they can’t say where this is from. Happens all the time in this industry. And you can still find out with a bit of investigation. Being Kentucky it’s probably Barton or Bardstown. It really depends on what they do with it after they get it. They are obviously blending their small batch. My money is on Barton.

Yeah we mentioned most likely it’s and NDA much like Dingle does with a lot of there brands that source through them. Doesn’t take away from the liquid at all. It for Mike and I we just love to know the ins and outs. And the only information I got from some sources is that they may use weller liquid for some of there expressions. 🥃🥃🥃
