I love these guitars. They look wicked, and sound amazing as well. If I could do it over again, I'd spend my hard earned cash on one of these instead of the Bartlett Retrospec MK2 POS that I actually did blow my hard earned $$$$ on and have about 8 thousand regrets about 😢

Have you tried selling the Bartlett, I saw a recent post on the gear page and a guy wanted his money back, that post got taken down which is wrong imo.

@@danielsguitars1659 I'm reluctant to sell without pointing out to the prospective buyer all the things that are screwed about it and I'd sell for a substantial discount if I did, because there's no way it's worth what I paid. Difficult, expensive lesson learned. Still, I might take it to some trusted luthiers and let them go nuts. There might be a decent guitar to be had after some heavy duty surgery. I googled "Daniels guitar" and a site from the UK popped up. Is that you? I'm liking what I see! Good stuff.

@@jonathanlok643 I wrote a whole post about it on a forum that got removed. In a nutshell - almost everything about that $8000CAD guitar was screwed in some way. Some small, some significant. Basically, you pay that much for a guitar, you expect the details to be obsessed over, and whoever made my guitar phoned that MF in big time, to the point that the strings aren't even centered on the fretboard. It felt like a highschool senior's graduating project in shop class. Impressive if it was that, but it's not, it's an 8000 dollar guitar. Even the guitar R.J.'s playing is probably 2 grand CAD less than what I paid for my Bartlett mess.

@@danielsguitars1659 Yeah, that was me. I didn't intend to even get the guy involved, I just wanted to put it out there that not everything that builder makes is a masterpiece (if any of them are). Once he was involved, I decided the only thing that would make me happy was to get my money back so I could put it towards something that is actually worth it, like one of these killer Frank Brothers guitars. But he obviously wouldn't go there, he wouldn't even acknowledge the question.

Ah okay,...now you have another guitar with T-Armonds? I guess the amazing Bunting Willow is also equipped with T-Armonds, right? I have never played a guitar with these PU´s, definitely need to try them out. On a semi hollow or hollow guitar they seem to really shine...not just warm, but defined with a certain punch... Hm, thanks for this Clip R.J.!
