Mike Tyson was the best Boxer with Ko power in history for me right up in till he left Kevin Rooney & went with Don king he was never the same after that. Youngest heavy weight champion in history aged 20 Years Old and undisputed at 21 Yrs old WOW just wow from Sheffield England SWFC
@matty68482 жыл бұрын
Yeh pound for pound he must of been the hardest hitter in the world. At 21 he was knocking out experienced heavyweights 10/11 years older than him. Considering most heavyweights dont peak until their mid 30s, he was amazing to watch.

Coudn.t agree with you more 100% true....
@simonbellamy672 жыл бұрын
So true. The guys he was KO weren't bad boxers or fighters in fact some went on to have good careers. I guess Tyson was doing things differently because he was KO guys who were peeking at 33 or so, all the while being only 21 or 22 himself. Heavyweight Boxing just doesn't work that way normally. I think Tysons 1st fight without Rooney and Cus and some other trusted guys like his biographer and photographers you know people that were in Cus's Inner circle showed. That fight with Tyson was Tysons 1st without his proper crew......

Peak Tyson could never have beating a peak Bowe The Tyson you speak of was so overrated Go back and look closely at his record He beat good boxers well passed their prime and useless bums. When he lost his 0 against a boxer I’d never heard of,, he had nowhere to go but fight the elite boxers Lewis Bowe Holyfield He couldn’t complete with these athletes.. The Tyson story is a bit of a myth He was well managed ,, always getting easy fights..

Frank in his day was one hell of a fighter. A left jab that was up there with the best ever, coupled with a devastating right. Followed his carrier from day one; apart from Tyson, the fights he lost he was winning until his achilleas heel came into play which was he could never defend himself instinctively when he was hurt. Was so glad when he eventually got the crown. Never met him but he always seems such a down to earth all round nice guy.

Bruno was loved by the British people of all races, still is, but at the time he was British poster boy, something no other UK fighter ever achieved and many were very jealous of. Don't get me wrong, we have had great and talented fighters such as Lewis and others but none loved as much as Bruno and that is all credit to big Frank .. he was a good boxer too
@kristinaking4680 Жыл бұрын
Why? Why British public did not love Lennox Lewis as they loved Bruno? Just curious 🧐
@sijones458 Жыл бұрын
@@kristinaking4680 I think Bruno was more open, more approachable, pure golden heart, a London geezer with a great sense of humour. Bruno was the British hope at a time when we hadn't had a true heavyweight for many many years, the man who could challenge the dominant America and a certain Mike Tyson, Bruno had power. Lewis was more closed off, an arrogance, more professional and came from Canada with an accent so many felt he was a fake Brit, although later It came out he's a Brit (stamped in all). Credit to Lewis though, he once said boxers are like highlander and once you beat another fighter, you gain many of their fans, Lewis certainly did that. Lewis was a real world class boxer, clever, powerful, tall and skilled, a tue world champion and a deserving all timer.. but, he never grew up in London and always had that disconnect about him.
