Man, I feel obliged to leave a comment. Can't stop watching this. You've captured in under 3 minutes the soul of the character (which Jon depicts masterfully, truly, chills down viewer's spine), and used this track. Not the theme, not any other music, but this one - the one that plays when billy lets frank loose - the one that plays when Lewis is being stabbed 14 times in the chest - but hearing it I don't see death and destruction, only pain and loss Frank carries. Great choice, great edit. Keep em' coming.

Great editing. The song really hits you hard because this is played when Frank makes a choice wether he lives to revenge his family, or dies to be at peace. This is the true essence of him. To me he is a person who played Frank castle/Punisher very excellent, Thomas Jane was the first punisher but John took it to a whole other level, 20x better. i think i watched this video atleast 50 times, it just makes you feel so much better. Too see how Frank takes matters into his own hands despite how angry or sad he feels he stands up and does what he has too, in a very fucked up way this is good motivation to do something against your problems now doesn't mean you should go buy a gun and shoot your problems in the face but.... still instead of staying down and letting your emotions get in the way, they should motivate you to get up and do what you need too.

I love this show! John put so much emotion into his words, even without doing much sometimes. It could even just be a neutral facial expression and you could tell, his rage filled his veins and vengeance filled his weapons. This show was amazing from the start for me since he killed and showed no mercy and didn’t feel bad because what happened to him made him not care anymore. More people than you know, it's just a damn shame not more people take this actual technique into consideration, cause a lot of edits I see they just get music and slap video on there with no effort at all. This is gonna sound cocky but it's a fairly basic technique, whats hard is making sure you have the right scenes and quotes to make those parts of the tribute actually mean something, once you have that it's gold and this video, this is exactly that.

Anyone else think Frank Castle in season 2 of Daredevil was more badass than in The Punisher? I loved every minute of The Punisher but honestly I think i was more impressed by him and his story in season 2 of DD. Amazing video by the way man, looks hella professional!

Trey Budreau he was but I like how they dove deeper into his character. I think the metaphor of DD is he was fighting a war in his show he was ending the war. Hence the last words he said on the season finale

Trey Budreau I thought he was more human in his show. With Daredevil we saw Frank the myth, but in The Punisher we saw Frank the man.

ayy thats a good point! i like the myth and the man comparison, really good way to throw it into perspective. he was for sure more personable in his show but that was expected i guess considering we're learning more about his past and family and just him in general. he definitely had his "mythical" moments in the Punisher like in the woods and in Lieberman's basement which were just so badass to watch hahah

I think Daredevil’s writers are slightly better than Punisher’s, also his look (make up, facial hair and hair) was better and i don’t know how to say it correctly, i don’t speak english very well, but lightning?? You may know what i mean, like how his face was most of the time in dark, i loved that
