Frank Cho Drawing Demo - Venom

New drawing and art tutorial videos EVERY WEDNESDAY.
Today, I get to draw one of my favorite Spider-Man villains - Venom.
I’m a huge monster horror fan, so Venom’s overall esthetics appeal to me and I had a blast drawing him.
This whole drawing took about 50 minutes to draw in real time.

You know, now I'm curious to see how you would draw the related character of Scream. For context "Scream" is one of the five offspring of the Venom symbiote that was forcibly spawned by the Life Foundation in the original Venom: Lethal Protector Miniseries and is characterized by the colors of Yellow and Red and has a large mane of "hair" made up of symbiote tendrils.

I don't know, but I actually like doing the elongated eyes, similar to larson, bagley, and McFarlane. However I do understand about your style somewhere to Biseley, as I like to make my venom monstrous and little veiny too. Although people do tell me he looks more mechanical which I find weird😅
