My husband and I have been to that very place, the artist there are amazing. I fell in love with the native pottery that they make by soaking certain rocks in water. Their jewellery and geodes are beautiful. This is perfect.

You are a marvel, Frank. I will look out my masking fluid and try not to tear the paper this time. You are a magician with a magic brush!

Yeah the skies and sunsets/sunrises are absolutely legendary here in Arizona. The shapes and values you get in the clouds. The colors. The deep purple mountains against the fire pink and orange sky. I've never ever seen anything like it. Sedona is a beautiful place to paint too. Lots of artists and hippies and craftsmen of all sorts.

Beautiful as usual but wondering why you didn't use burnt sienna for the Sedona rock formations it's the iron oxide in them that gives them that red color

Best not to shake masking fluid,it creates bubbles which burst when applied ,creates pin holes and doesn't cover well, stirring is best, thanks for the interesting demo.

Why not paint the sky first, then draw the rocks . No masking needed .
