The ultimate professor Van Helsing in BBC televisions Count Dracula, from 1977 and one of my favourite actors and certainly one of the finest actors ever!!! 🙂

His portrayal of Jacob Marley was chilling. He also had a very distinctive voice.

Lovely man. Charming and handsome. He's known as Frank "the hair" Finlay in our house.

He looked a bit uncomfortable with the interviewer closest to him. He was a great actor, very handsome even in his senior years here, and very underused in my opinion.

His greatest performance was as Iago in Othello (1965). It was so chilling. And by far the best depiction of Iago that anyone has ever done.

He was an awesome actor. I saw him in Dracula 1977 and it wasn't bad at all. They all did a very good job.

I don’t know about you guys in these comment sections, but I think that he would have been brilliant if he played Gandalf, (he looks like a short version of Christopher Lee), and could have just gone to the gym to get a little muscular while receiving broad shoulders, like how Tolkien describes him in the lotr books! And, I also think that Christopher Lee could have played Denethor or Theoden with the right amount of vigor!
