Everyone would like to have such a class drummer in the studio for each recording session I'm not afraid to say that you are able to work as a session drummer for example, in Nashville or LA. The sound of your drums there is no meaning at all. Your job is to play the drums and sound engineers taking care of the sound. If you had recorded it all even if only one microphone I still will be able to hear Your professionalism I am convinced that in the studio you will know how to achieve professional sound and I know this because I saw you already in several recording sessions .I hope that one day you will get this one of the most important phones in your life and you will be ready to exploit opportunities that will put you in this business for only top drummers because you deserve it.I will not mention about your humility and personal culture that I see in your responses to the comments which is often critical in this business. I also know that what I write is not for you a new one because you're not doing this since yesterday. I need not tell you this because you are certainly aware that none of the hours spent by you for drums was not a waste of time and will certainly come back to you, you just have to patiently wait for it all the time and be ready for it. I wish you all the best. I apologize for such a long comment and my weak English. Is my first comment on you tube and I think the last but you forced me to do it :)

But yeah im practicing as much as i can, and i am doing some pretty cool stuff atm, an album release and a live dvd/album coming soon with some great muscicians! And im so thankfull for being apart of that. And im still practicing and getting ready for "that phone call". Even thogh every session/gig is equally important for me. You never know! Thank you man! I dont think its the mics tbh, its my placement of the mic and mixing skills. Its a learning prosess for me :D but yeah it would be great to have better mics.. but i need to learn all this stuff first ;)

Haha thanks dude! Ive been working so much with different projects thats why the delay. Yeh, its a learning prosess for me, i suck at mixing and mic placement. But i thought that this one sounded better then my other videos. Spent way more time with it. And its alson the way the drums sound in my tiny studio :/. But thanks for the feedback

I think snare and toms should be more muffled and "tight" (less reverb or sth?) and cymbals are little to quiet. But it's just my opinion, I never mixed anything :D it sounds good anyway :)

Hey Frank I'm about to buy that Starclassic b/b hyperdrive kit. Do you recommend it?

Hi there! Yes i really do recommend it! The best kit i ever had. Its easy to tune, its easy to rig up and down because of its locking system thingy. All the toms have this locking system so you dont have to fiddle with height settings. You just simply unlock it and take the legs or the whole tom out. So you never really have to fiddle with settings more then once. Its just a perfekt "work horse" of a drumkit. Good luck! Send me a video of u playing when u get it! Take care!

NICE!!!! The tama snare i use is a 14" Starphonic. Im happy with it, but i think im going to try a 13" snare from tama some time soon. i really like the 13".
