One way they could nerf Lily's Gadget could be that she loses all current supercharge when she enters the Shadow Realm. It wouldn't affect her getting her initial super too much, but it would have the player make a choice when the go in for a kill: Do you go to the Realm to get out safely with a kill, but have your next super harder to charge, or risk not using gadget to keep your supercharge to try to chain kills with the super. It would add a little more skillful decision making for the brawler, while keeping the gadget and the way you play her similar enough, and still very fun.

Even better idea: the amount of super she has currently determines how long she is in the shadow realm. So if she has a full super, it would last longer than it would now, but waste her super completely, or you could use it immediately for a super short amount of time.

Actually, Lily's SP didn't technically get nerfed because it always just gives her a 50% damage bonus on her next attack. I first noticed that when I unlocked her and her SP said it gave 600 damage (power 1). So yeah, that 1060 extra damage scales with cubes, power gear, ruffs power up etc.

Lily can still burst brawlers with 6300 health or less with the spiky star power + the teleport double hit combo then go stealth again. And her stealth is way too broken it lasts 3s and the cooldown is extremely short so you can go invis like 2s right after you unstealth. So id say here the nerfs for Lily Gadget. Reduce shadow realm timer from 3s to 2s. Increase cooldown of gadget from 2s to 6s. This will make lily think twice before going invis in shadow realm. Also remove the bug where she can see other lilys and cordelius in shadow realm. Also reduce unload speed of main attack by 20%. So she cant just spam double hit really fast

It's not a bug there's only ONE shadow realm Example: When you have 2 cordelius in game and they both use super on someone they are in the same realm and then lily uses gadget they are all there.

Lily's biggest problem is her unload speed imo. The damage was high too, but it doesnt matter if she can still super + 2 shot most brawlers in the game and kill them in a blink when she has like only 1k hp. Also the ult recharge and how her gadget cooldown starts when you activate the gadget and not when you leave the shadow realm.

The Frank bug where his attack wouldn't work is probably related to attack speed. If you've used lola in quickfire, sometimes her ego doesn't shoot cuz it reloads independently from the main lola. And I've also experienced this with gale in quickfire on heist. You reload and shoot too fast to the point where it glitches like frank and doesn't work

They can change how the gadget works. Maybe like whenever she gets a kill she has a 2-3 sec window where she can use her shadow realm gadget ( just like reyna's abilities in valo). This can make players to avoid brainlessly pressing the gadget to get positioning and make them play more calculated. By this her other gadget can be used for positioning and this one to escape tricky situations. But idk how this might work in bs.

That feels like it's going to emphasize the most toxic part of the gadget, which is disappearing right after getting a kill where she is on low health and her teammates are right next to her. I think instead, making the gadget all about positioning is better. Make it a thing where she presses it and has to wait one or two seconds for it to activate, so she can't just disappear on the edge of death unless she is skilled enough to time and press it beforehand. Maybe make it so that the gadget can only be used when she has her super and it consumes the super. There are so many cool ways to balance the gadget.

Its cause lilys gadget cools down while shes using it, allowing her to use it again almost immediately after coming out of the void. You have like half a second to kill her before she can just reuse the gadget and getaway. Making it recharge after shes out would make it more balanced

I think a simple and effective nerf for Angelo would be to decrease his hp to around piper or even lower. The high damage, fast movement speed, and broken jump gadget would be more validated if he had similar hp to the other squishy brawlers

For Lily's gadget, I was thinking about 2 nerfs : - It shouldn't allow other players to see opponents in bushes upon activation (looks like more of a glitch then anything else)... - It should have a small cooldown and animation upon activation: when Lily presses gadget, she stays still for half a second (can be increased if it's not enough) and throws a sort of smokescreen plant on the ground, ninja style. It would clearly affect the versatility, but you couldn't use it as a free "get out of jail card" in matchups, and it would leave a window for counter attack. But she would still be able to infiltrate the opponents zone in a sneaky way that matches her whole thematic
