Frank just does not get the recognition he deserves, A top flight guitarist.

Saw these guys at the World Music Festival in Orlando, April 1979. Unbelievable! I've been a huge fan ever since. This kind of talent does not exist today. :-(

Exactly mnsnake....Eddie did re-invent playing but Frank IS profoundly under rated. Lots of people havent' even heard of him. I saw him back in 78 or 79 and I'm sure i was the only black guy there but I've always listened to what i like. I don't give a DAMM what's your race !!!! If you're jamming u got my attention..............

Great stuff, saw Frank live twice both = excellent. Had him sign a slew of orig. vinyl too. The thing with him is he beats the hell out of his SG ,yet ALWAYS maintains an element of tonal control and it being musical.

frank was as much a guitar heavy as hendrix or jeff beck. he had great range of styles from hypnotic, jazzy, blues, new age, you name it. he was more of a guitar players guitarist, seems like only hardcore guitar fans were really into him. i loved his music, his solos and vocals were so raw, loved that wicked SG sound. he tore it up.
