I remember that song from over 30 years ago. It sounds as grand and anthemic as it did then. Great song!

I still love it 'til this day brother. This is gonna sound stupid but here it goes, as far as 'labels'. Heavy Metal, Classical, Symphonic, Orgasmic. Fuck the labeling committee! I do however consider this. If there ever were to be a "World Anthem", (Frank's vision would be my first. I'm biased), but why, now go with me here, why would you need words? To me, THAT makes sense, to not have words but feeling!

Saw Frank open for Ted Nugent 1978 Boston sold out. There are shows I had seen that were all so tremendous that I try to find the best words possible to describe my thoughts on them, but this gig was.....WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.......ONE HELLLLL OF A SHOW. World Anthem waa Franks encore song and there were strobe light all the way around the band on the floor pointing on an angle inward over the bands heads. They were synchronized to chase around the band throughout the whole song and they looked like an old movie on stage. I have their live album.. "Frank Marino and Mahogany Rush..Live" The whole album is electrified and intense.

Fuckin' A-Right Skippy...what the hell that means, I don't know. I DO know this song. I actually did a 'roadie' role when Frank came to Pittsburgh PA, in the old Leona Theater back in, I think 1978?!?. He was right next to me, literally before he performed. He was truly amazing and such a big influence in my life as far as, the little that I can do on guitar. But the song, being what is, inspires my spirit because of the "lyrical" content. The movements are so compelling that, yes, it should be our "World Anthem". For this is an instrumental piece, tho the (nth) degree and there should be no words in a "World Anthem", it really doesn't make sense to have words. People speak volumes with only a glance. Thank you Frank!

Me and my old hippy dad had duplicate copies of his albums, especially after I first started buying CDs in the mid 80's, and by the early 90's, still didn't see any of his albums on CD. So, every time, I saw another frank Marino album on vinyl, I'd grab it, just in case.My dad never converted to CD, and died when he was only 47. I, finally after all those years, have all of the first 10 albums on CD, and paid too much for some of them! And, the only thing I can think of, is I wish Dad was here to see it. But, the other thing I think of is why was Frank so underrated, that so few people know his music? Or appreciate it? He was, is a guitar gawd! I blame the record companies! Maybe, he was too idealistic in his philosophies(lyrically), for the "hit factory"!
