Ungreatful Duck First off, I would never call Frank a good looking dude, but not even half a decade ago, he was more "rugged, world-weary soul" and less "frail old man who looks 20 years older than he actually is." Secondly, it doesn't matter whether or not it makes sense, my point was that the passion is still there. And, lastly, while I agree with you that his linework isn't great, an artist named James Harvey proved that modern coloring techniques make his art look worse than it is.

Frank Miller, while he did amazing on Batman Year One and The Dark Knight Returns, pretty much slapped Batman and his legacy in the face with The Dark Knight Strikes again and the awful All Star Batman and Robin, the Boy Wonder

BATMANIA RETURNS I did like his version of Catwoman in Batman Year One. However the way he brutally had Joker beat her up in All Star Batman and Robin, the Boy Wonder and the way he aged her into this fat poorly dressed slob running an escort service in The Dark Knight Returns did not do her any favors. Catwoman is my favorite comic book characters and I feel I would never see Selina Kyle succumb to such fate, even the Selina Kyle he established in Year One that ended up being an amazing origin story for her post Crisis on Infinite Earths. But you got me interested to read his latest work I am definitely gonna check it out!

I think a lot of people don't like his work. I personally don't like the Dark Knight Returns series at all and I think the plot is really weak but I certainly don't hate Frank Miller because of it.
