Here I take a look at the new Sin City Deluxe Hardcover that contains vol. 1 of the series written and Drawn by Frank Miller, "The Hard Goodbye". This is the slipcase edition.
I also do a very brief comparison of some aspects with the Big Damn Sin City book that contains the entire series.
This is a spoiler-free overview where I take a look at the build of the book, and show off some internal artwork.

When i go through miller's best titles, i always wonder where did he ever go with his later works...this is d same guy who gave us ronin, batman year one, dark knight returns, sin city, 300! Great review as always Adam, cheers mate!

Never read Sin city by Miller before. Watching these videos I've realised how few lauded stories/runs I have actually read and been reading comics since 2007.🙂 Super duper review as usual Adam. I hope you have a great weekend.😄 Edit. Sorry to see that the binding on your book was bad. Bit of a shame.😞 Still a Really nice book overall.

There's no rush to read all the great stories, they aren't going anywhere! There's so much out there... which is only a good thing! But it just means that some things take a while to get to. And yeah it's a bit of a shame about my binding but it's a very fixable problem. Much better than if it had turned up with corner dings etc! I've pre-order mine months ago. I think the abstract art in the front of the slipcases is a bit impractical. Who has the space to display the front of 7 slipcases on their shelves?

I've been debating this version for a bit, but I already own Sin City in multiple formats. Strangely I don't see a solicit for the book on it's own here (Canada). Thanks for the early look. The debate continues......

I'm actually not sure if they are, I haven't seen them anywhere for a while. I think the Big Damn Sin City goes in and out of print every couple of years. It might well be the same for the TPBs. I imagine Dark Horse are in no rush to reprint the TPBs for the moment while they are releasing these deluxe editions. Thanks a lot for watching!

There is a new edition of volume 1 in paperback out, I know my LCS have a few copies in, I would assume the other volumes will continue to come back out too 👍
