Ughhhhh the first half of this song gives me so much life & Nostalgia singing it in my room on my loner vibes on some Deja-vu after all these years and the second half? Ughhhhh, satisfies my soul like yesssss I needed the rest of that! The song was always so short & so I would consistently replay & replay, sing til my tears were gone as I smile through the second half. I need a full studio version but as a Frank fanatic? This is the beauty of being a fan of his work, the early years where he was so raw, makes all these songs feel so much more intimate than any heartbreak song on the radio, when Channel Orange dropped, people were still hit or miss with him, then blonde dropped and now he's solidified, when I play these old songs of his, my friends be like "who's this?" And I just love the fact that he has all this discography in his catalogue that's almost like a best kept secret considering most only know his C.O & Blonde work. Idc how long this man takes to Drop music, he's a blessing regardless 🙌🏽

I remember his first MTV live performance, so many people I knew were calling him a 1 hit wonder because of "Thinkin Bout You". and when I showed them Nostalgia & Lonny they couldn't believe it. It would always feel special though when I would listen because almost no one I grew up around knew of his previous work and so I feel blessed on that account.
