last time i checked you can dance/move without singing. it is also really fucking annoying on a live video like this. i totally understand singing along but it kind of kills this video. i can hear the fans more clearly then i can hear Frank. majority of the time at a show the sound system is loud enough over power the crowds but not when the mic is in the crowd.

I don't normally watch concerts online because it feels wrong to experience something through a screen that should be experienced in person, but Frank is once again a musical genius. Hear me out. A traditional concert for lets say a modern band or singer usually includes lots of lights, very loud music and a certain degree of showmanship from the band members (aka the entertainers who we pay to entertain us). Broadly and conceptually speaking, concerts are meant to make you feel connected to the artists singing and performing; instead concerts are mostly ear-deafening music combined with the artist you don't even feel connected to cause they're so far away (there's nothing intrinsically bad about these things, I went to Astroworld and that shit was fucking awesome, they are merely observations from past concert experiences). Here's where Frank outsmarts the rest of us. He instead makes his shows very low-key, intimate, and personal by simply singing the songs and being himself lolol. The stage they stand on has almost no decorations apart from the doodles so only the instruments, cool looking boombox, and performers are left onstage. It also has a long runway so he has lots of room to move through the crowd to an extent (the crowd is on both sides of the runway). There are no bright lights in your face or confetti blocking the view. So you feel connected to them because they're close enough to see and nothing to distract you from the music. He also uses those giant monitors/screens or whatever so that even if you're in the back, you can see what's going on. It's very low-key as Frank mostly stands, sits or walks and sings beautiful songs that make you think and feel instead of making you want to start a mosh-pit (also nothing bad with). I'm assuming Frank is recording his performance with all those cameras, although nothings for certain. This is also a nice touch to his aesthetic as watching those big screens makes you feel like you're watching an old home video or a weird video on KZbin with long ass comments like this one. ANYWAY, my point is that Franks shows are not traditional concerts but evoke more emotion and inclusivity than most. Thanks for reading if you're this patient to read!

held the down the rail directly at the end of his catwalk, fucking worth it, still gives me goosebumps thinking about this show, the only gripe that i had is that he was late, homeboy to my side copped the setlist & of course mothafucking pyramids and at your best were on there but he didn’t get to perform them because he was late
@BumbleBeeLouis6 жыл бұрын
Andrew Mendez dude was like 10 - 12 minutes late, by artist standards that not really late haha most artist are hours late

My phone died as soon his set started. I have no footage from my FYF experiences bcuz the entire lineups were solid af. Just immersed in the ecstacy of good people, good music and good times. I miss these times 💕

I cried so much during this i dont know if i could handle a concert from frank in real life, id be bawlin my eyes out during every song, type of crying where you cant even keep your body still. His music means so much to me, i really hope he doesnt blow up more

Something about Frank’s music taking me back to old memories. It’s like the nostalgia of falling in love and getting my heart broken for the first time. Makes me cry

Lens is such a good song. It's almost ridiculous to mention any one Frank's song is good because his discography is so substantial
