Received my game two days ago, have already tried it a few times in solo mode and will play a 4 player mode this Saturday. So far I am greatly pleased with it and have had a blast playing it, even though I have lost the scenario I was playing all times so far!

29:03 - you missed placing one of your skill tokens for Earthshaker on the explore action, but you only got a bonus item part which wasn't very helpful so minor mistake. Nice runthrough, I'm pumped for this game!

Did I miss the move from 2 creatures to 3? I think you only fought 4 overall... There were only 4 creature tiles uncovered. And how did the weak frost affect movement? Also, how does the end of scenarios/stories work? I would guess the end of a scenario is game end vs stories have multiple scenarios that allow your characters to grow over the course of it. Is there any bridge between stories/scenarios to allow leveled characters to continue? Or each acts as a separate adventure from scratch? Love the game! Looking forward to its general release!

Hi Greg, The scenarios are a single objective which take about 45 minutes - 1.5 hours. The stories contain 4 chapters, each chapter has it's own objective but you play through the whole story in a single session. Stories take about 1.5 - 3 hours. Your characters don't progress from story to story, but the narrative continues and you'll start strong in the later stories, allowing you to recreate your characters if you wish, or allowing you to try a new role. I hope that helps! Weak frost reduces movement by 1, so when travelling through it you can move 1 less space.

Thanks for the video!! ) Sorry if im a bit late to the party, but just received the game and trying to learn how to play it. Found something strange in your playthrough, in the end u cured poison on Calamis by using basic healing action on him. Didn't found anything like that in rulebook.. thought u can remove poison only by visiting City or using special char skill? Maybe something changed from 1st print and now i have only those 2 options?

Hi Vlad, you are correct in your understanding, you can only cure poison by entering the city or using a special character skill. In this instance Earthshaker had the "Cure Poison" skill unlocked, and this is what was used to remove the poison. If you look at the character sheet you will see Earthshaker's Cure Poison requires a Heal action to use it. In the video I perhaps should have send "I will activate Earthshaker's Cure Poison using a Heal action" to make it more clear, I hope this helps.

I think we buffed him too much, he received lots of abilities, jumped all across the map, panicked us, throwed elements etc.. Thought we gonna lose but somehow we killed him :P Anyway thanks for such a wonderful game!

Just watched the video before setting off. Now I just finished Desecrated. T’Lorra and Thralir did good. Completely different playthrough from yours Frank. I actually manager to get some body armour for both heroes. With an attack 5 value the last creature didn’t stand a chance. Still on the last turn, so No time for questing in this scenario. Both were of the Go Kill variety.

Hmm. This old barn mechanism works well? I mean if im gathering something because i need resource for an item ,and i put it in the barn, than the other player takes it away....than what?So how do i keep the resource for myself?

Istvan Fazakas the game is cooperative and players need to work together to succeed. Collecting resources and spending them as a team is critical to success.

VERY late to the party... but I kind of have to agree with Greg H's comment. Pretty sure you only killed 4 creatures instead of the required 5 for the scenario - because you didn't reveal the 5th creature stat bar - it's still sitting there on top of the stack!

Hey Richard, it's been a little while since I recorded the video so I'm not sure if I said something incorrectly, however from an objective perspective. The objective is to discover 5 creature tiles and kill all visible creatures. The game starts with 1 creature tile already revealed, meaning only 4 more creature tiles need to be found, and then those 4 creatures need to be killed. A 5th creature would only need to be killed if you discover an extra creature during the scenario, as you must kill all visible creatures. I hope this helps!

Hi Frank. Does curse and lightning bolt has to have the priority target in range (range 2 in the creature's case) to be effective, otherwise it does nothing (if no other valid priority targets)? My guess is it does but i just wanted you to confirm this. Thanks in advance! Great game btw.

Hey Mark, UK retailers will need to pre-order it from their suppliers as the stock is selling out very quickly from the distributor (Asmodee UK). It's due to release in just under 2 weeks. It's very much worth having a chat with someone at your local store about whether they can get it.

Hi Frank, great playthrough and amazing game! I just played Desecrated yesterday and then wartched your video to check if i played it correctly. Just have 1 question, wouldn't Vyliria had the movement reduced cause of the weak frost at 42:11? So she had no way of moving out of range of the creature... It doesn't change the outcome of the result, but just want to clarify that. Thanks!

I dont understand something haha At the start the map tile astrographer tower theres a creature there ? We ignore it because its already reveal ? Thx !

If a map tile starts the game as revealed then you do not put a creature on it unless the setup cards specifically states to place a creature on it. I hope this helps!

At level 3 I feel like you only gave a skill tier upgrade, but no regular 'increase a stat of your choice' upgrade? Do you not get both?

Slaitaar sometimes you get both but normally you only get 1 or the other.
