I remember watching this with my family when I was kid. Parents were able to sit down and enjoy specials like this with their children in those days. And yes, Sinatra was a uniquely gifted singer and performer and still a hot ticket to the end. Thank God for film and KZbin.

We'll overlook the wearing of the Nehru jacket in view of the fact that Sinatra looks and sounds so great. I believe that he is singing Nice And Easy to the Nelson Riddle arrangement. The same applies to How Little We Know. It's wonderful that these shows made from 65 to 70 have been preserved for posterity on DVD and released as a boxed set.

Because he was completely professional in all that he did that's why he was a phenomenal singer I love him

What was more incredible with this live take is that he came in 4 bars too early, you can clearly hear the mute trumpets repeat the intro lines and the bass line and then Sinatra glances at the conductor to say oops!, the sax section looking at the conductor but the conductor nailed it right way.. Sinatra had the very very best musicians and most importantly the best arrangers and conductors to nail everything together. These two arrangements are pretty safe compared to other such classic arrangements but they just "sit" superbly and it swings so naturally.
