Highly appreciate how you describe in detail what's happening visually. I'm totally blind and had no idea just all the movements people do while talking. Going to try this since I've been told I sound somewhat monotone.

Fascinating and so true. Frank Sinatra was VERY well spoken. He was a voracious reader and reportedly did the NYTimes crossword puzzle daily in pen.

Just look at the way he speaks, he speaks as he thinks that shows the level of grip he has on what he is speaking and expressing it in a concrete way.

Great content Joseph. And now after seeing Ed Murrow make a brief appearance in this video - ubiquitous cigarette in hand - I have to go and rewatch 'Good Night and Good Luck' again. David Strathairn (plus Robert Downey Jr) and so many superb performances. Thanks for the memory jog.

I’m not sure where you would have gone with it but I was expecting to hear something about the way Frank “speaks” when he sings. I’ve always thought of his matter of fact vocal delivery as more melodic speech than traditional singing where the words are part of a flowing melody. Thanks for the worthwhile information you’re giving us.

Joseph, you need to fix your mic and the reverb in your room. Love the content and your speaking, but that reverb’s gotta go.
