I came to this only because I saw several people say on Facebook.That this was the best guitar solo ever. It's pretty awesome.

FRANK ZAPPA IS THE BEST!!
@andyhampsten4252 Жыл бұрын
Wow. No one but Frank can jam for 6 minutes and have it all be completely original and interesting. He could do 3 takes and all would be different and good. He doesn't repeat his best solos cause there's always another that might come out. And he has a thousand performances like this if you dig. Skip the goofy songs and listen to his guitar.

I’m not sure if Frank shortened it because of limited space on Guiter, but if you listen to both versions you see his mastery of compacting a recording. of course we cherish both versions, every second of them, but the shortened version has all the essentials and a bit more impact. I wouldn’t want to miss one of the both versions.

Only FZ could come in and hit "the perfect note" that just sustains for bar after bar... Until he resolves it magically. Incredible that the pentatonic scale only has five notes - add a couple more for blues or minor. Yet Frank makes it seem like there's 50 notes available. All these hidden notes and phrases that just don't seem to exist on my fretboard !

Superb - Minor blues from another galaxy! Where did he find those notes?? I'd put this up there with the best and wildest of Coltrane, and that is saying something.
