There was one Frank zappa, as there was one beethoven and one mozart... just brillant. I can listen and listen to zappa, there are pieces of music as this one you can listen and fill all the dynamic, rythmic breaks, there are always different perspectives on this music... so clever and complexe

"Don't even try to figure out the music, jsut strap in for the ride!" Spot on right there! And yes, you do not want to get inside Zappa's head. It is indeed a scary place - brilliant but very scary! LOL Glad to see someone who can appreciate Frank's eccentricities. Not everyone gets it.

In '71 I really got into a few groups. Zappa, Tull, Gentle Giant, Yes and a few more. Never looked back. My favorite year in music. They year before I saw one of the last concerts from Uncle Jimi and Jim Morrison.

Allow me to suggest a Zappa album set that will feed your Guitar-Jones for years to come. It's a three record collection from Japan aptly titled 'Shut up and play your guitar', 'Son of Shut up and play your guitar' and 'Return of the Son of Shut up and play your guitar'. Jazz, Blues, Rock...all with Zappa leading the way. Hours of Frank jamming with nothing else to do. You may find it amusing.

I got Carver AL-3 ribbon speakers with internal cross-overs bi-passed and bi-amplified with an analog active cross-over, 5 band per channel analog parametric equalizer, 1400 watts of B&K class A/B amplifier (4 x 350 Watts RMS), and a 15" Velodyne Servo Accelerometer Subwoofer. I have 2 Velodyne ULD-15 subwoofers to refurbish and add to the system replacing the single sub. My PC system has Schiit Magni Heresy pre-amp, Schiit Modi DAC, Monsoon Planar Speakers, Class-T amplifier (class D with feedback), Parts Express DSP-408 digital signal processor crossover, 2 x Yamaha YST-60 servo subs for bass (80 to 200 Hz), and a 10" Velodyne servo subwoofer with 1200 watts RMS for sub bass (80 Hz). So it's a tri-amplified system. I can adjust the cross-over frequencies, parametric equalization, delay, and levels on the fly! It's very nice and very, very clean! My headphones are Hifiman HE-560 magnetic Planars. Zappa sounds very nice on all of these thank you very much!

IMHO it's OK to stop the music for a reaction video to make a comment. After all, one can always listen to the uninterrupted song elsewhere. In my mind, watching reaction videos is to gain new insight to the music, so a reasonable number of pauses is OK.

Ricky Lancelotti on lead vocal once again. To be a Zappa fan invariably means becoming a fanatic, Zappa-ology consumes your life and changes you. Another unofficial Zappa recommendation - there's a thousand King Kongs to choose from but this is special kzbin.info/www/bejne/lZCQo2lmed6Cl7s (it's dominated by Ian Underwood and he gets deep here)
