This is absolutely amazing! I'm going to attempt to do this for Halloween this year. In fact, I might want to dress up as this two nights in a row - both Saturday and Sunday. It looks like the forehead prosthetic could be reused. Do you think that jaw piece would hold up to a second use? I also want to use do my arms and hands, but I'll probably just use only body paint for that, to keep from smudging everything everywhere.
@ShonaghScott Жыл бұрын
Have a fab time! 🎃 You might be able to use the headpiece again, it won’t be as seamless but for a party I’m sure it’ll work fine. The jaw would be harder to reuse due to edges. It would likely tear or roll up.

You did a fantastic job! The best I've ever seen. I love your techniques! Thank you for sharing! Do you have any suggestions or explanations about how to best remove the makeup and prosthetics? This Halloween I'm going to make my husband into a Frankenstein monster. However I'm concerned about how to remove the forehead over the eyebrows...and not remove his eyebrows! LOL
@ShonaghScott3 жыл бұрын
Hey Megan, Thanks for the kind words :) The removal is SO easy, just grab a product called ProClean, it makes removal extremely simple. Just use a large flat brush dipped in ProClean (decant some so not to contaminate the bottle with double dipping) and just gently rub at the lip of the prosthetic with your brush as you lift it with your other hand. It melts the glue so quick and is safe for the skin.

I have a client going to a KISS concert soon, could I use this technique to make it last, supracolor then face paint over top? Would I have to set the supracolor first with powder. I have cinema secrets setting spray but I’m finding that it doesn’t set it. What spray would you recommend for it. Really need it to last as we are heading into to summer here. Thanks
@ShonaghScott5 жыл бұрын
I would honestly recommend Pro Aiir Hybrid paint for anything where you need it to last! It has fantastic coverage and opacity, and it’s completely sweat & humidity proof - it comes off easily with just dish soap too. AND it’s affordable! Go check them out ☺️👍🏼 If you want to see the paint in action I have used it before in my Yondu tutorial.
@kellyiacono99705 жыл бұрын
