Ma'am, I've been learning from you since my first year in literature. You're no doubt, a fabulous lecturer. And i am really thankful to you for all the efforts that you put for us. Ma'am can you please make a video on 'Great Expectations '? It'll be really really helpful!

I totally missed the Polar magnetism theme. The Creature (Adam) being animated by electromagnetism means that he is of the earth and has the genuine lifeforce of an earth creature and not some undead zombie, despite his unusual origins. Makes sense etymologically if you take "I ought to be thy Adam" as Shelley naming the character, as "Adam" means "from the Earth."

Peace be upon you. My name is Yeasin Arafat . From Bangladesh and read in grade 9. My annual exam is going to start. For the first time literature has been added to our English books. But I can't find any difference between simile and metaphor. If you can tell me the difference it will be very helpful for me. My teacher doesn't read because he says it will take him at least two months to read a poem. But we don't even have a month. So, please.😊😊😊

@@Oelschool-sy1kf both simile and metaphor refer to comparison. As in bengali we say "tulona kora". Simile is upoma, where we use as or like. For example, she is as beautiful as a rose. But if we do not use as or like, it is metaphor (rupak). For example, she is a rose among the thorns. You can check my video on rhetorics where I have talked about it in details.
