Frankenstein - Radio Serial

This is a rip of an LP that collected a serialized radio broadcast version of Mary Shelly's Frankenstein from either 1932 or 1938 (sources I found online have conflicting information). The files I ran across were so badly degraded and muffled that I had to filter them to make them understandable. Despite the cover of the LP Boris Karloff isn't in this compilation at all. I think this radio serial was used to promote the Universal movie adaptation and that's why Karloff is on the cover.

I can look at Karloff's image and listen to the story, and I will see him, hear him, feel him. Boris Karloff is the ONLY Frankenstein!, but it's good to hear the story and immerse myself in Mary Shelley's terrifying tale, not just Boris' entrancing persona !! thx heaps

As he was bourne away by the ice-flow, I could just make out his final words, "It's okay if you just call me 'Frankenstein' instead of 'Franhenstein's Monster'. I really don't mind." THE END
