this is funny becuase IMMEDIATELY after Victor made the monster he regretted it, ran out into the town, gave up science forever, and became INCREDIBLY ill for about 2 years. he was also very very very unprepared for any responsibilities and when making the monster was in such a driven and college-student-state, he didn’t eat sleep or anything like that and basically lost himself in science

The creature grew mad from how it had been treated by humans, including a couple who found him a freak, and asked Victor for a partner. Victor agreed, then went back on his word. He ended up dying in a ship with only telling the captain of his creation, where it found him, and mourned Victor's death
