Frankfurt Airport lifts and transit trains

I've transferred at Frankfurt and it's probably the biggest airport I've ever been to. I had to go on the airside transit train at 6:50 and I thought it was going between 2 different terminals but I later found out it was going from one area to another area in the same terminal and there's 4 stops! That kind of shows how massive this place is.

That 2-story Schindler with an outside touchscreen is likely a 5500 as at least in America only 5500, 7000, and traction modernizations can have destination dispatch.

5:13 The "3300" lift is actually a 5500 not 3300. Go on to Schindler's website if you don't know what is 5500. It's a PORT touch screen. Custom Linea Vetro instead of regular Linea Vetro buttons.

5500 is the next model up. This is clearly a 3300 by the small motor and rel lack of supporting structure which is typical of a 3300. Which fixtures it has does not indicate what model it is.

Nope 5500 also uses small motors. It's a both MRL and machine room model.

3300 uses flat steel belt ropes (same as Otis GEN2) while 5500 uses coated tooth-like steel belts. They are definately coated tooth-like steel belts so it is indeed a 5500. 3300 uses only FIGS and FI GL 100 touch sensitive and 5500 uses Linea Series (Linea 100, Linea 300, Linea Vetro). FI GL 100 pressable buttons are discontinued in 2013. Linea 100 and Linea 300 are pressable buttons and Linea Vetro are touch sensitive buttons. Look it up on Schindler's UK website. Those are definately custom designed Linea Vetro fixtures (instead of regular Linea Vetro shown on brochure) and a PORT touch screen (used on destination dispatch system).

The belt cables on this lift are exactly the same as the 3300s I have surfed. It is rubber coated steel cables. It only has grip on one side, so there is a 180 twist between the lifts 2:1 wheel to the motor's wheel.

ElevatorsinRussia the Schindler PORT systems only exist in high rise buildings and high rise hotels, as well as high commercial offices.

+LiftsInGermany Where car park lifts are located? In the Squaire or terminal? Car park lifts with capacitive buttons are Schäfer RB 42.

The Thyssen car park lifts which we safety broke are at teh sqaire car park, go there by transit train. The capacitive buttons one is in the terminal, there a a couple of car park lifts in the terminal, only one of them has capacitive buttons as far as i remember.

5:13 The "3300" lift is actually a 5500 because it has a door motor sound, listen to the door motor sound. 3300 does NOT make door motor sounds. The reason why they make that sound is because they are geared, look up the shaft you'll see the geared motor on the door operator.
