Frankfurt controllers are known to be exceedingly rude so when an airliner landed there and asked for progressive instructions to taxi, the controller yelled back and said "what?? you have never been to Frankfurt before!??" So the pilot of the airliner replied "I was here in 1944, but I did not land"!!!
