I'm 68 (born 56) so I was 4 when they came out in 1960 and you were 10, by 1963 my teenage brother and cousins ( all born in 48, 49, and 50) had every 45 top hit record know to mankind. We would stack as many of them on the record player as we could, hit automatic and turn it up with all the windows open and dance on the front porch. The Four Seasons were among our favorites. Being a 6 or 7 year old with teenage babysitters in the 60s was A BLAST! Glad you commented! It made remember all those fun times! I've been revisiting a bunch of the 🎶GOOD STUFF🎵 for the last couple of days! God bless!

Born in the 50's, grew up in the 60's & 70's and Frankie Valli & the Four seasons was and still are one of my favorite artists. Can you imagine that you are performing three of your songs that are 36, 47 and 49 years old (Respectively at the time of this video) songs that are older than many people in the crowd, and you are performing to thousands of people, you turn the microphone towards the crowd and those thousands of people are singing your songs back to you, what an INCREDIBLE feeling that must be.

That and 'Never gonna to give you up' by Rick Astley. The II-V-III-VI chord progression is so warm and nostalgic I'm surprised so little Western pop music uses it. it's pretty much 70% of Jpop. It's so ambiguous it fits both major and minor keys you can use it for anything! Check out Baka Mitai, the meme song from Yakuza 0 for a minor key version of the same chord progression. I always love me some II-V-III-VI and i would love more english ones.

My middle grandaughter has Spotify playlists that are made up of all songs from the 60s. Her favorite artist is Paul Anka. She loves his ballads. She also likes the Four Seasons. She asked me once "How does his voice go so high?" My wife and I graduated High School in a small town in New Jersey in 1964. We started dating in our senior year and were married in 1968 after I finished school. We'd spend one Saturday each summer in Atlantic City before we were married. Most of the day was spent at the Steel Pier. We saw the original Four Seasons there. We still listen to their music today either on USB sticks or Sirius in our car. Those were great times.

Anyone can just put "Frankie Valli lip sync" in any search engine and up will pop a wealth of reputable and substantiated info. But nonetheless I still gotta admit, anyone 80 and above gets a pass from me for lip syching. This was no doubt still a great show. To see all these different families, generations, and cultural backgrounds unite and sing along to his songs word for word. I 'm a Vietnam vet and back when the Vietnam Wall was dedicated Wayne Newton said in a years advance that he would come and preform for the troops for free. I was in Washington for the dedication and at the last minute Wayne Newton said he would preform for free but needed $250,000.00 to haul his equipment to DC. This was dropped like a bomb on the troops but someone had a contact with Franky Valley and the Four Seasons who were in the middle of recording. When the Four Seasons heard what Newton had done they dropped everything they were doing and flew down to DC and preformed hit after hit and they did it for free. When I was about 16 years old me and my friends got to meet the Four Seasons in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Back in those days the singers would sing and everybody danced. When they would take a break they would mingle with those they came to see them sing. Thanks Franky

My husband and I went to see him perform live this past April and was disappointed because he did lip synch many of his songs. There was also a newspaper critic there and she also stated that he clearly lip synched. It sort of looked to me that he might be doing the same here. I understand he's in his 80s and that he is a legend, but he if can no longer sing the high notes he used to sing, maybe he should change the music a bit to better fit the notes he can sing now, rather than lip synching.

Konichwa from the Land of the Rising Sun, Japan!!! I’m listening from the small hamlet of Musashimurayama outside of Yokota AB , just 42 Km Northwest of Tokyo!!! Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons ( Fun Fact: they got their group name one night standing outside a bowling alley named the “Four Seasons” & that was history). Their music rivals Elvis Presley’s in my book any day!!!❤️😮😊

Pushing 87 years old he a music legend . He had (has) unmatched falsetto and nobody sounds like him . Of course I had all of his albums growing up and still don’t know how he make those tones . He has a deep speaking voice but singing it’s like two at once and then hits those highs ….awesome ! I waited for episodes of the Sopranos just to see his short cameos and recently he’s still great doing those Synchronized Zoom hits. A genuine historical Treasure . Go Frankie go ! Frank D.

I grew up during the 60's. I know people say that if you say you remember the 60s you wasn't really there. But I remember listening to The 4 Seasons. They were and still are an American original. And truly one of the greatest Rock n Roll bands ever. Frankie Valli is a musical genius. I'm glad to see them get the recognition they deserve.

I saw Frankie Valli a couple of years ago in Sydney, Australia. He put on a fantastic show and it's great that he still has the pipes and the passion to perform. The term "legend" doesn't do him justice as a performer and a human being. There will never be another like him.

I grew up on Frankie and the Season's iconic great music and vocals. I also wanna add I grew up and lived for 57 years on the street right next to where Frankie and Tommy DeVito grew up and started singing together, the old Silver Lake section of Belleville NJ. I had to move a year ago but still in Belleville just on the other side of it. Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons the best! :)

Here I was minding my own business, when I stumbled into this performance. It is both joyous and sad, I mean how many performers are loved by the very old, the very young, people of all races, and together, we just love this man, for all of the memories he has imprinted in our minds and hearts. A reminder that despite all of our differences, regardless of what some of those in the media try to drill into our heads night after night- what separates us, that as one race- the human race, goodness is the norm.

I was a kid in the 1960's. While growing up our diverse neighbor hood garage band, we sang 4 Seasons songs. I was Franke Valli because I was the shortest. That lasted until puberty, will always love their music. We compared them to the Temptations and other groups of that era. The writing was brilliant. Ecstatic to see them get the accolades they deserve.
